PATRAS GREECE

Our hotel is located in Patras, the largest city in the Peloponnese, urban and commercial center of Western Greece. Just 2 hours from Athens, with its Port connecting it with the Ionian Islands and Italy and the imposing bridge, unique in its kind, connecting it with Central Greece.

Reveal the secrets of the past

Patras is a city with many attractions from its long and rich history from prehistory up to today. The Prehistoric settlement of Voudeni, the Castle of Patras, the Roman Conservatory and the ‘Apollon’ Theater are just some of the monuments that can be visited, while the New Archaeological Museum of the city is perfect for a tour of the past.

Agios Andreas, the patron saint of Patras

The city is dominated by the church of Saint Andrew, the majestic, largest church in the Balkans and one of the largest in Europe, which is an emblematic pilgrimage for the Orthodox everywhere but also a brilliant sample of architecture. Next to the new church is the old one that was founded in the place of Saint Andrew’s martyrdom and is decorated with important hagiographies.

Strolling around the city

The city center has a neoclassical air and a walk is all you need in order to meet many monuments of different phases of its history.

Pedestrianized for the most part, the center is ideal for walking, shopping and relaxing. The options in cafes, restaurants and bars are many. You will definitely find the one that suits you.

The Carnival of Patras

An institution that has its roots in antiquity has made the city famous and is one of the reasons to visit it. The Carnival is a series of cultural activities, parades, hidden treasure games, dances, spectacles and events that every year brings to the city fun, creativity, imagination and liveliness. To believe it, you must experience it!

FROM DAY TO DUSK

When the sun goes down in the coastal area of the city you can enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets. Close to the city one can find plenty of beautiful seaside locations across the coastline during the summer, while the mountainous part of the area also offers many opportunities for sightseeing and activities in the nature. Patras, however, is also suitable for excursions throughout the Peloponnese and Central Greece.
